I always wanted to feel at home in the outdoors and I made it part of my life from 2018.
Starting with almost no knowledge of land, wildlife, farms and rural life, navigation (still a bit patchy to be fair), weather, scrambling, scree and pretty much everything. It’s taken years of commitment, effort and assorted failures to find a place of peace, comfort and acceptance in nature.
I meet few people who look like me across the outdoors. I hope to make as many people as possible feel as confident, free and as at home the countryside as I do.
Photography was never the goal, it’s been a byproduct of being immersed in, seeing, living and experiencing how amazing nature is, sharing images and stories with others and encouraging family, friends and the odd stranger to deepen their connection to our natural world.
